The project for the interior of the bakery Frumentum is located on one of the hubs of public transport in Zagreb. The generic interior of similar catering establishments has been replaced by unique and specific design. A new volume has been inserted into the existing space characterized by a series of variable cross-sections which, in addition to establishing spatial dynamics, take various functions such as exhibition displays for bakery products, shelves, tables or places for sitting. These segments are materialized with curved wood panels so that there are no visible rectangular compounds but the dominant continuity of the surfaces. Side walls that are not covered with wooden panels are lined with corten panels.
